Three years on, we’re heading home. We’re returning to Santa Margarita Park, the place where it all began, to come together once more during the María Pita festivities and celebrate a convergence of music, city and community that, for two days, transforms the heart of A Coruña into a space for sharing, discovering and celebrating electronic culture.

The stage is situated at the foot of the amphitheatre; its open-air design offers superb acoustics and makes it the perfect venue for enjoying electronic music outdoors over these two days.

Where is the festival held?

FEC takes place entirely outdoors in the amphitheatre at Santa Margarita Park. All performances and activities are held in outdoor spaces. The music, the surroundings and the sky are all part of the FEC experience, so we recommend checking the weather forecast before you come and bringing the appropriate gear.

What will the timetable be?

The event will start at 5.00 pm and will run until 1.30 am on each of the two nights.

What happens if it rains?

FEC takes place entirely in the open air and all activities are held outdoors. Unless there are exceptional circumstances that could jeopardise the safety of attendees, staff or performers, the programme will go ahead as normal. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions.

What facilities will be available on site?

There will be food trucks, rest areas, merchandise stalls and security on duty at all times.

Can I buy tickets at the box office?

Yes, although we recommend buying them online to ensure you get in and avoid queues.

Are there facilities for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, the festival has accessible entry points and special assistance to ensure your comfort.

Dj Swisherman

Friday 14th

Dj Swisherman es un DJ y productor gallego que se ha consolidado como una de las figuras emergentes más destacadas de la escena electrónica internacional. Su trabajo se construye alrededor del groove, la energía y un marcado sentido de la progresión, desarrollando una identidad propia que transita entre distintos lenguajes de la música de club contemporánea.

In recent years, his career has taken him to some of the most prominent venues on the international circuit, with sets at clubs such as RSO, Watergate and Rote Sonne, as well as appearances on platforms such as Boiler Room. In 2024, he took part in the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Jeff Mills’ ‘Live at Liquid Room’, a milestone that reflects the growing prominence of his career.

He is currently a resident DJ at Mondo Disko and has released music on labels such as Suara, Transition and KAOS, establishing a career that continues to grow within the European electronic music scene.

Kangding Ray

Friday 14th

David Letellier, known as Kangding Ray, is a musician, producer and DJ. His work blends experimental music with club music, charting a unique course over almost two decades through techno, ambient and avant-garde electronic music. From the minimalism of his early work to his characteristic blend of hypnotic textures and futuristic rhythms, he has forged one of the most personal careers in contemporary electronic music.

A regular on stages and at festivals around the world, Kangding Ray has expanded his work beyond the dance floor, developing projects ranging from museum installations to award-winning soundtracks. Among these, the recent music for SIRĀT (Óliver Laxe), which won the Cannes Soundtrack Award, whilst the film was awarded the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.

His acclaimed discography — from Stabil on Raster-Noton until Solens Arc, Hyper Opal Mantis, Ultrachroma o ZERO— has established him as one of the most innovative voices in contemporary electronic music.

Roi

Friday 14th

Roi is a DJ and producer with an open-minded approach to electronic music. As a DJ, he moves effortlessly between different styles and eras, crafting sets in which coherence and musical progression take precedence over labels.

As a producer, he is renowned for his work in genres such as techno and electro, although his output also extends into other areas of experimental electronic music. His productions reflect a wide range of influences and a constant search for new sonic languages.

He is the co-founder and artistic director of Fanzine Project, a platform for the promotion and development of electronic music. Through this project, he has spent years promoting new artists, creating spaces for experimentation and strengthening the electronic music scene.

Russ

Friday 14th

Russ is the project of Galician sound artist and producer Marta Gilino, situated at the intersection between sound design for audiovisual and performing arts projects and electronic club music. Her work explores the texture, tension and materiality of sound, using synthesis, sampling and extreme processing as tools to sculpt immersive soundscapes.

Influenced by IDM, electro, leftfield techno and bass music, she has developed a language of her own in which abstraction and groove, disruption and control, atmospheric depth and physical impact coexist. Through complex layers of sound, unstable modulations and carefully constructed structures, she creates soundscapes that oscillate between the organic and the synthetic.

Since the release of his debut EP, *ZZEN*, in 2022, Russ has established an active presence both on the experimental circuit and on the Galician club scene.

Slit Observers

Friday 14th

Slit Observers is a project by Alex Veiga and David Crespo, friends since their teenage years who are united by a shared passion for electronic music and club culture. Their story began in the late 1990s, when they learnt to DJ together and built a solid foundation in the electronic music of that era.

After years of following parallel paths, Alex delved deeper into scratch and turntablism, whilst David developed his skills as a producer through projects such as Lagoon, exploring genres close to IDM and experimental electronic music.

Since 2023, both have focused their efforts on Slit Observers, an electro-centred project that combines rhythmic precision, sonic exploration and a strong conceptual dimension. Their music has been released on labels such as Fanzine Records, Dialecto Periférico, Gente Seria Viste Chándal, Gladio Operations and Mars Frequency Records.

Inspired by ideas linked to quantum physics, observation and the duality between the visible and the invisible, the project explores how perception can transform our understanding of reality.

Surgeon

Friday 14th

Surgeon is one of the key figures in the history of British techno. Active since the early 1990s, his work has played a decisive role in the evolution of the genre, from his early releases on the Downwards label to an extensive discography that includes key releases for Tresor and his own labels, Dynamic Tension and Counterbalance.

Over more than three decades, he has developed a unique style that combines the intensity of techno, sonic exploration and live improvisation. He has had a decisive influence on several generations of artists and remains an indispensable figure in contemporary electronic music.

As well as his solo career, he is a member of British Murder Boys alongside Regis and has been involved in numerous collaborative projects that push the boundaries of electronic music.

Breixo Martínez

Saturday 15th

Breixo Martínez is a Galician DJ, music curator and cultural agitator based in Barcelona, who has been associated with the Discos Paradiso scene since the very beginning. He is the founder and director of the radio programme and record label Canela En Surco, as well as co-founder of Escola Records alongside Pau Roca, a project focusing on house, soulful house and broken beat.

His work is characterised by in-depth musical research, with a particular focus on music from West Africa, the Caribbean and South America. In his sets, these influences blend naturally with American house, disco and other forms of dance music.

For over a decade, he has been heavily involved in music programming, research and promotion, helping to introduce new audiences to some of the most influential voices in contemporary club music.

Objekt

Saturday 15th

Objekt is the project of TJ Hertz, a producer, DJ and music software engineer based in Berlin. Born in Tokyo and raised in Belgium and the UK, he has forged one of the most distinctive careers in contemporary electronic music, developing his own unique style that blends technical innovation, sonic experimentation and club music.

His body of work ranges from the influential self-released albums *Objekt #1* and *Objekt #2*, which marked his breakthrough onto the international scene, to releases on key labels such as Hessle Audio and PAN. Albums such as *Flatland* and *Cocoon Crush* have cemented an artistic vision that constantly challenges the boundaries between genres and formats, establishing him as one of the most respected voices in avant-garde electronic music.

As a DJ, Objekt has become an international figure of note thanks to his open-minded approach to genres and a rare ability to combine technical precision, risk-taking and musical storytelling. His sets, as unpredictable as they are meticulously crafted, have established him as one of the most influential figures in contemporary club culture.

Reeko

Saturday 15th

Juan Rico, known as Reeko, is one of the key figures in contemporary Spanish techno. Active since the late 1990s, his career has been characterised by a constant exploration of sound, taking him from the most forceful and conceptual techno to territories increasingly open to experimentation.

Founder of the Mental Disorder label in 2003, he has been releasing music for over two decades on some of the most respected labels on the international scene, such as PoleGroup, Planet Rhythm, Soma and Avian. At the same time, under his alias Architectural, he has developed a side of his work that is more open to melodic and atmospheric exploration, with releases on labels such as R&S, Music Man, Semantica, Ellum and Non Series, amongst others, as well as a recent release on Fanzine Records.

In recent years, he has continued to explore new rhythmic structures and compositional approaches, an evolution that is reflected in recent works such as his collaboration with Surgeon on *Mental Disorder*.

Steve Bug

Saturday 15th

Steve Bug is one of the most respected figures in contemporary electronic music, renowned for his commitment to quality both in his own work and in that of the artists he has supported throughout his career. A leading DJ, producer and curator, he has played a key role in the evolution of European house and techno through his influential label, Poker Flat Recordings.

His career began during the golden age of techno and acid house in Germany, where he developed a deep fascination with groove. This quest led him to develop his own distinctive sound, combining deep house, acid and minimal techno, attracting the interest of labels such as Bedrock, Knee Deep In Sound, Minus, Cocoon and Defected.

With a career spanning more than two decades and six studio albums to his name, Steve Bug remains a key figure in international club culture, keeping alive the curiosity and musical sensibility that have defined his career from the very beginning.

Weisheit

Saturday 15th

WEISHEIT is a producer and DJ from A Coruña whose career has evolved from a more classic hard groove style to a sound she herself describes as energetic, yet minimalist, groovy and sexy. Her sets, whilst primarily rooted in techno, are open to a wide range of influences and are characterised by solid grooves and physical rhythms.

His productions combine atmospheric elements, powerful basslines and carefully crafted rhythms, shaping a sound designed for the club. He has released music on labels such as Laburnum London, Kongres Kollective, Wangan Club and Fremd, as well as running his own label, Human Source Records, where he made his debut with his first EP.

She is currently a resident DJ at Punto G Sessions and is also involved in education through Fanzine School, where she works as a DJ instructor.
